My first recollection of music was hearing the song “Seasons in the Sun” while sitting in the back seat of my parents car as we were driving somewhere. Terry Jacks is often the one credited with this tune with his 1974 single of it. However, after a little Googling I have discovered that several artists have released versions of this song including a country version by Bobby Wright the same years as Jacks that also charted on Billboard magazine’s country Top 40. For biography sake I’m going to assume that it was Jack’s version with its super flanged guitar and Jacks tightly echoed vocals.
